Safety
Built so you stay in control.
A card you hand a stranger should never become a leash. Here's how Dealt is designed, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Your controls
- Kill switch: rotate or disable your code anytime. Every card already handed out stops working instantly.
- You pick the channel: your page shows only the contact method you choose. No phone number is ever required or displayed unless you put it there.
- No location, no last name: we never publish either. What's on your page is exactly what you typed, nothing more.
- Block and report: every page has a report link. Reports go to a human at safety@dealtdecks.com.
Good practice with cards
- Hand cards in public settings. The move is charming precisely because it's light — keep it that way.
- If a recipient reacts badly, walk. You owe no explanation; that's the whole design.
- Don't write personal details on cards. The card's job is to carry the QR — let the page do the talking, because the page can be turned off.
If something happens
Email safety@dealtdecks.com — a human reads it, typically within 24 hours. If you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
