About

The apps made meeting people feel like admin.

Dealt started in Washington, DC with a simple observation from a hundred nights out: the people you actually want to meet are already in the room — and everyone's too nervous to say so. Approaching feels like a performance. Getting approached feels like a transaction. And the apps? The apps turned romance into a part-time job with worse hours.

So we made the smallest possible tool for the bravest possible moment: a card. You hand it over, you walk away, and the whole exchange takes three seconds. No name to give, no number to ask for, no pause where someone has to perform. The card says your move — and the pressure leaves the room with you.

What we believe

  • Initiation should be low-stakes. The gap between "I noticed you" and "here's my number" was always too wide. A card fits in it.
  • The giver's job ends at the handoff. What happens next isn't your problem — that's not a slogan, it's the design.
  • Your page, your rules. You choose what's on it and how people reach you, and you can turn your cards off anytime.
  • Charm over volume. We'd rather ten cards get handed out well than ten thousand swipes go nowhere.

Who we are

A small, independent team in DC. Not a Match Group subsidiary, not a growth-hacking lab — a card company with a very specific opinion about how people should meet. Say hi: hello@dealtdecks.com. Press inquiries: press@dealtdecks.com.
